How others found creating and sending Giving Summaries using Letter Box

We became a Letter Box paid subscriber in January 2024. Doing this enabled us to send emailed giving statements to our donors and saved us hundreds of dollars on print and mail costs. For years, we had been sending 3000 printed giving statements to our donors, including a cover letter showing the impact of giving, a giving statement, and an envelope. We would then spend over 30 human hours matching letters and stuffing envelopes. Our total print and mail costs alone were over $0.88 per piece. We had always wanted to utilize electronic giving statements but were unhappy with the limited features Raiser’s Edge provided. By becoming a paid subscriber to Letter Box, we could design a custom, branded cover letter with several advanced features and a giving statement.
