Human Appeal Australia (HAA) faced the same problems as so many charities: they wanted to be as efficient as possible but the tech just kept getting in the way! Features essential to their donor engagement such as accepting donations, processing credit card payments and sending receipts and gift certificates by email were taking unreasonable amounts of time and causing frustration in the team.
HAA were using two separate apps as RENXT couldn’t do everything they needed in one place and they were manually downloading and uploading data between these two places. This process took up valuable staff time and risked losing valuable data. HAA approached Red Arc on the recommendation of Blackbaud for a solution to this time-wasting problem and Red Arc were able to present a custom integration app called Quick Gift Entry.
Initially piloted by the call centre staff, the app proved to be so useful that other teams began to use it as well. The average gift entry time went from 5 minutes per gift to almost half that, and the staff were happier too!
HAA and Red Arc have worked together since the app launch to continually implement feedback from the team using the app to make sure it is as efficient as possible, one area of particular improvement is e-receipting, HAA say this is their biggest time saver.
